Tigers set 212-run target for West Indies

DHAKA: Bangladesh on Thursday (December 20) set a 212-run target for West Indies in the second T20I of the three-match series in Dhaka.

Tigers lost four wickets to score 211 runs in stipulated 20 overs at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Opener Liton Das secured highest score (60 off 34) for the team while Ace all rounder Shakib Al Hasan (c) and Soumya Sarkar added 42  and 32 runs respectively.

SS Cottrell bagged twowickets for West Indies while Oshane Thomas and Fabian Allen picked up one wicket each.

Tigers are eyeing to level the series by winning the second match.

After losing the Test and ODI series, the visitors bounced back to register a comprehensive victory in the first T20I.
