DHAKA: Mushfiqur Rahim and Mosaddek Hossain’s unbroken the fifth wicket stand helped Chittagong Vikings secure top position in the point table of this Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Vikings captained by Mushfiqur Rahim beat Rajshahi Kings by six wickets at Mirpur Sher-E Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Mushfiqur scored 64 off 46 balls, while Mosaddek added unbeaten 26-ball 43 to chase 158-run target set by Rajshahi King with two balls remaining.
Rajshahi posted 157 for 5 with the help of 74 runs off 56 balls by Laurie Evans when Chittagong had sent them to bat first winning the toss.
