DHAKA: Rain washed out the tri-nation series match between Bangladesh and Ireland at the Village in Dublin on Thursday (May 9).
The match scheduled to begin around 3:45pm (Bangladesh time) was declared abandoned without a ball bowled.
Actually, the toss between the teams did not took place due to rain.
The two teams have to share the points which take Bangladesh to the top of the points table with six points.
The eight-wicket win over West Indies was led by a good fightback by the Bangladesh bowlers, who took the last seven wickets for 56 runs.
Another team, West Indies has attained five points from two games.
Windies beat Ireland by 196 runs before consumed an eight-wicket defeat to Bangladesh.
The next match is on Saturday (May 11) when Ireland will play against West Indies.
