DHAKA: Hosts England set a gigantic 387-run target for Bangladesh in the 12th match of ICC World Cup 2019 at Sophia Garden in Cardiff Saturday (June 8).

Opener Jason Roy collected 153 runs off 121 balls with 14 4s and 5 6s.

Jonny Bairstow contributed 51 off 50 balls while Jos Buttler 64 off 44 balls with four 6s. 

Captain Eoin Morgan added 35 off 33 balls.

For Bangladesh, pacer Saifuddin and Mehidy Hasan Miraz hauled 2 wickets each.

Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mustafiur Rahman took one wicket each.

Bangladesh won the toss and sent the host to bat first.

England lost 6 wickets in stipulated 50 overs to collect 386 which is the highest toll for any team in the tournament till Saturday.
