Bangladesh Cricket Team beat Sri Lanka Board's President XI by five wickets in the lone warm-up match as two fifties of Mohammad Mithun and Mushfiqur Rahim made the route to win.

The Lankans opted to bat first after winning toss and posted 282 for 8 in stipulated 50 overs. Dasun Shanaka remained 86 not out while Shehan Jayasuriya collected 56 runs.

Pacer Rubel Hossain and Somya Sarker bagged two wickets each.

In reply, the Tigers captained by Tamim Iqbal scored 285 for 5 in 48.1 overs.

Mithun scored 91 off 100 balls while Mushfiq 50 off 46 balls and Tamim 37 runs. 

However, the visitors will play three ODI matches against the Lankans scheduled for July 26, 28 and 31 in R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
