Dream 11 IPL2020. Match 26th
Rajasthan Royals (RR) Vs Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) played at DSC, Dubai
RR 163/5 in 19.5 Overs (R Parag 42*, R Tawatia 45*) beat SRH 158/4 (DA Warner 48, MK Pandey 54, K Williamsom 22*) by 5 wickets
Player Of The Match: R Tewatia

The tussle between two bottom half teams was playing for pride. RR and SRH won IPL at least once in the past. When they met yesterday the possibility of reaching the top four went out of their reach. Yet for bringing some smile to their adoring fans both had stake to win. Royals of Rajasthan had last laugh as the late middle order batsmen Parag (42*) and Tewatia (45*) rallied them home with an impressive 6th wicket partnership after SRH reduced them to 5/78 defending their paltry score of 158/4. RR reached 163/5 winning by 5 wickets.

Batting first on a difficult wicket SRH could reach 158/4. David Warner (48) made a good start but could not kick on. Even Pandey’s bright innings was cut short at 54. It was not easy playing strokes on a slow gripping surface. The target of 159 appeared at least 30 runs short at innings break.

Yet SRH bowlers managed blowing the top half of RR batting cheaply with scoreboard showing 5/78. Two lesser known batsmen Parag (42*) and Tewatia (45*) then combined sweetly on an unfinished 85 runs 6th wicket partnership leading to RR winning the match comfortably by 5 wickets.

Sun Risers Hyderabad and Royals of Rajasthan would return home with the consolation of finishing 5th and 6th among the 8 participants of IPL 2020. Teams can now brainstorm what could be better? Where they need to work on for IPL 2021 for improved performance.
