The head coach of Bangladesh national football team Jamie Day has tested positive for coronavirus.

A member Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) confirmed the information to Banglanews.

The British coach tested positive on the routine tests carried out on all the players and staff of both Bangladesh and Nepal on Saturday. The test result of Jamie Day came out positive on Saturday night, he said.

Jamie is now in isolation in his hotel room. Another test will be carried out on him, he added.

Earlier on November 12, Bangladesh beat visiting Nepal by 2-0 in the first match.
