India Won the 5 matches T20 Series 3-2. 

Exceptional Cricketer of present generation Virat Kohli once again leading his team of diversified talent from the front won easy very crucial 5th match of the evenly contested series. India won comfortably by 36 runs. Batting with a vision and maintaining momentum all the way they posted a sky-high score of 224/2. England also did not die wondering. They had also their moments in the game and if only their middle holder could hold the momentum, they could go much closer. But in the end smart Indian bowling restricted them to 188/8. India won the series 3-2.  Many observed that the match yesterday at Iconic Narendra Modi was a dress rehearsal of ICC T20 2021 final. Off Course West Indies is still the holder. 

As expected, another Indian cricket team yet again in another format won another important series 3-2 against a competitive England stretching them all the way. During this COVID England could quickly set up wonderful bio security bubble protocols and resume cricket. They could prepare teams across all formats and achieved luxury of possessing many players of high qualities across all formats. India was not that much lucky with COVID and could not start domestic cricket with similar intensity.

If two top batsmen of modern starts tweeting in tandem one can imagine what can happen. Yesterday after so many experiments with different combinations two champions led the charge together. A rollicking 90 runs opening partnership set the tone in soothing motion. Rohit left blasting 64 in 34 deliveries striking 4 fours 5 towering sixes. Kohli kept going. His sublime unbeaten 80 in 52 deliveries contained 7 imperious fours and 2 sixes, Youngsters Suryakumar Yadav (32) and Hardik Pandya (39*) also contributed. 224/2 was always a tall order.

India even then required executing plan while defending. Swing master Bhuvneswar struck gold. His miserly 4 overs cost him only 15 runs. He rattled the furniture of in form Jason Roy in the very second ball of the innings and also later picked the wicket of Buttler when he started threatening. The Indian team of diversified bowling attack restricted England to 188/8. Apart from Buttler (52) and David Malan (68) none could do anything of note. The only partnership that looked threatening was between Buttler and Malan adding 130 for the second wicket. In the end Virat Army won comfortably and won by 36 runs. India won yet another laurel losing the first match of the series big.
