Bangladesh set 172-run target for Sri Lanka

Bangladesh have set a 172-run target for Sri Lanka in their first match in the Super 12s of the T20 World Cup and were sent to bat first against Sri Lanka on Sunday at Sharjah.

Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and send Bangladesh to bat first.

Bangladesh earned 171 as Mohammad Naim took the highest 62 runs off 52 ball while Mushfiqur Rahim scored 57 runs off 37 balls.

Meanwhile, Nasum Ahmed has been included to the playing XI in this match. The left-arm spinner played superbly well against Australia and New Zealand recently at home. Bangladesh kept the right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed out.

The Tigers will need to win at least three matches to march to the Semi-finals of this T20 World Cup.
