DHAKA: Bangladesh ended December 2013 with 113.78 million mobile users, up from 111.80 million in October.

Grameen phone led the market with 47.11 subscribers, up from 46.66 million two months earlier, and Banglalink ended December with 28.84 million customers, versus 28.39 million in October, figures from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) show.

Robi Axiata grew its base to 25.38 million from 24.84 million, and Airtel`s mobile base went up to 8.27 million from 8.23 million.

Citycell`s customer base increased to 1.37 million from 1.34 million while state-run mobile operator Teletalk saw its customer base rise to 2.82 million from 2.34 million in October.
