DHAKA: Self-educated inventors both in rural and urban areas are appreciable but due to lack of publicity their innovations cannot come under spot light.
Poverty is the main cause of that, said information minister Hasanul Haq Inu.
The information minister, as chief guest, made this remark while attending the innovation fair organized by Daffodil International University in Dhanmondi on Tuesday morning.
He also said nation’s demands could be fulfilled if their inventions entered the market. Government, financial institutions and media can play pivotal roles to make it fruitful.
Daffodil University Chairman Md Sabur Khan, vice-chancellor Lutfar Rahman and Janabigyan Foundation general secretary Ayub Hossain, among others, were present in the program.
