LG’s new G Stylo supports 2TB microSD cards

DHAKA: LG has launched the world’s first smartphone that supports microSD cards with capacities up to as much as 2TB. Unveiled in South Korea, the new LG G Stylo smartphone will be available in international markets from May.

The latest LG smartphone has a 5.7-inch IPS display of HD (720p) resolution and runs on a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor running at 1.2GHz, backed by 1.5GB RAM. The Android 5.0 (Lollipop) smartphone has 8GB internal storage and is 9.6mm thick.

On the back of the smartphone is an 8MP camera, while the selfie snapper is of 5MP resolution. Weighing 163 grams, this smartphone has a 3,000mAh battery. For high-speed internet access, the smartphone supports 4G LTE.

Like last year’s LG G3 Stylus, the new G Stylo also comes with a stylus.

Cho Jun-Ho, president of LG Electronics, said this smartphone is “for consumers who prefer a large screen smartphone ‘to G Style’, focused on providing affordable compared to high performance products.”
