DHAKA: Walton, country’s one of the popular brands, launched its multifunctional tab ‘Walpad Pro’, featured with an 8.9-inch display and powered by Windows 8.1 operating system.

The Walpad Pro is equipped with an Intel Atom 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 2GB RAM, 64GB storage which can be extended to up to 128GB and Intel Graphics.

The tab is relatively light with a weight of 460g and dimensions of 232.8X149.5X8.5mm. Walpad Pro users will be able to enjoy 3G connectivity.

The tab can also be updated with Windows 10 operating system.

The Walpad tab sports a 5MP rear auto-focus and a 2MP front camera, with full HD video recording capabilities. In terms of multimedia, the device has dual stereo speakers with 1080p full HD video playback.

Walpad Pro has a 6,000 mAh battery which will provide longer charge retention and also comes with motion sensors such as accelerometer.

Engineers of Walton Group termed the introduction of ‘Walpad Pro’ tab as a coruscation of technology-based product for the advanced users.

They also said technology has changed rapidly. Thus, the local brand has introduced the latest Windows 8.1 version tab to cater to the demands of the young and trend conscious consumers.

Walpad Pro is priced at Tk 19,990.
