Kinect launches new gaming era

Microsoft has been spruiking its new motion detector gaming device, `Kinect` ahead of its Australian release on November 18th. Kinect will retail for $199.

Kinect transforms your body into a games controller and kicks off a new revolution in video game technology.

Used in conjunction with Microsoft`s Xbox, the Kinect sensor uses a camera to track player movements.

Microsoft spokesperson David Mclean says the future of gaming will simulate life, `people now don`t have to think about how many buttons they need to press or what kind of clicking they need to do, if you can do it in life you can do it in the game.`
