DHAKA: Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon said city dwellers would get free internet services at all primary roads (intersections of city’s major streets) and public places in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) area.

He made the announcement in a discussion on ‘Dhaka City Cleanliness Drive’ arranged by DSCC and Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) at Ramna in city on Monday (March 14).

The DSCC mayor as chief guest of the program said free-internet services will be available for city dwellers at public places and intersections of city streets in joint initiatives of DSCC and BTCL.

Moreover, DSCC dwellers will get high-speed internet, he added.
