DHAKA: Robi and Symphony have recently launched the cheapest smartphone Symphony E12 and E58 at Tk 2,390 and Tk 2,590 respectively with Robi bundle offer.

With purchase of either of these handsets, the Robi subscriber will enjoy 500 minutes free talk-time (any mobile operators’ number) and 3 GB data with 30 days validity.

The offers can be availed from the Robi Sheba Centre and the Symphony outlets.

Robi’s executive vice-president (EVP) business operations, Jean-Michel Arnaud Chanut said, “It has been observed that cost is a major barrier for the masses to avail smartphones. On the other hand, lack of smartphone usage is a barrier for the proliferation of the use of internet”.

“Robi thought of addressing this impediment by launching the cheapest smartphone handset in partnership with the number one smartphone company of the country, Symphony. We are confident that internet will now find its place in all segments of our society,” the EVP added.

The Symphony E12 comes with 3.5 inch screen whereas Symphony E58 comes with 4 inch screen.

Both the handsets have dual SIM, powered by 1.0GHz single-core processor and 256MB RAM.

Interestingly, both the handsets come with one (1) year standard warranty.
