DHAKA: Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology state minister Tarana Halim asked for the participation of mobile phone operators in competitive Mobile Financial Service (MFS).

She also expressed her interest to include the MFS system in the postal bank after the approval.

The state minister came up with this assertion while speaking at a seminar on Mobile Financial Service (MFS) arranged in a city hotel on Tuesday (August 30).

Telecom Reporters Network Bangladesh (TRNB) organized the seminar chaired by its president Rashed Mehedi.

TRNB general secretary Shamim Ahmed presented the keynote in the seminar.

The representatives of Bangladesh Bank, mobile phone operators, several MFS organizations and security specialists attended the seminar.
