DHAKA: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and also her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy received the prestigious ‘ICT for Development Award’ at Millennium Hotel in New York on September 19 (local time).

He was conferred with the award for his outstanding contribution in enhancing ICT facilities in Bangladesh.

Actor Robert Davi handed over the award to Joy in presence of his mother Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The award giving ceremony was organized by World Organization of Governance and Competitiveness, Plan Trifinio, Global Fashion for Development and School of Business of University of New Haven, Connecticut in USA.
