DHAKA: Robi Axiata Limited and InterCloud Limited (a concern of Novo group) have recently signed an agreement to jointly work on various Over-The-Top (OTT) projects with the aim of facilitating smooth transition of its subscribers to digital lifestyle.

Robi’s immediate past Managing Director and CEO, Supun Weerasinghe and InterCloud’s Managing Director, Syed Moinul Haq signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations October 30 at the Robi Corporate Office, said a press release on Tuesday (November 1).

Mahtab Uddin Ahmed has succeeded Supun Weerasinghe as Robi’s Managing Director and CEO effective from today.

Robi’s new Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed; Chief Corporate and People Officer, Matiul Islam Nowshad; the immediate past Chief Financial Officer, Yap Wai Yip; Country Head of Digital Services, Manzur Rahman; General Manager, Finance & Digital Ventures, Mohannad Alam Khan and Manager, OTT Solutions & Partnership, Shafeen Daud were present on the occasion.

Chairman of Novo Group Faiz Khan; InterCloud’s Chief Marketing Officer, Hasibur Rashid and Chief Information Officer, Rezaul Kabir were also present at the signing ceremony.
