DHAKA: A six-day long digital fair ‘Digital ICT Fair-2016’ is set to begin at Computer City Center (Multiplan) in Elephant road in Dhaka from Thursday (December 22) with the slogan ‘The only way to fly’.

Computer City Center shop owners’ association made the announcement in a press conference at National Press Club on Wednesday (December 21).

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the eighth edition of the fair at 11:00am Thursday.

A total of 650 organizations will participate in the largest digital fair of the country that will end on December 27.

The fair will showcase latest IT products including laptops, desktops, tablets, cameras and close-circuit cameras.

President of Computer City Center Shop Owners’ Association and fair convener Toufiq Ahsan said that the space for this year’s fair will be extended.

Dell marketing manager Pratap Shah, Global Brand managing director Samir Kumar Das and Bangladesh Computer Samity general secretary Subrata Sarkar were, among others, also present here.
