DHAKA: The ADATA Smartphone & Tab Expo 2017 is set to be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka from January 26-28 with the view to bring opportunities to the users to experience and get the latest editions of smartphone and tablet computer brands.
This expo of smart devices is the seventh edition of its kind organized by Expo Maker, says a press release issued by the organizers on Tuesday (January 24).
Besides, the organizers shared detail information about the event at a ‘press meet’ at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.
ADATA product manager Nazim Uddin Emon, Head of Mobile of Samsung Electronics (Bangladesh Branch Office) Muyeedur Rahman, Huawei Device Business Dept Bangladesh Sales Director Ziauddin Chowdhury, Linnex Mobile AGM Operation Abdur Rahman Rakib; OPPO Bangladesh Communication Equipment Co. Ltd Head of Marketing Bruce Lee, Edison Group Marketing Director Ashraful Haque and, Expo Maker Head of Operations Nahid Hasnain Siddique were present in the press meet.
They informed that world’s renowned smartphone and tablet brands will be available in the three-day fair.
Meanwhile, Samsung, Huawei, Linex Mobile, Oppo, Symphony, WE, LAVA, Xiomi, Gadget Gang 7, Cellstream, Mycell, Micromax, lenevo, Coolpad, Mango, Meizu, among others brands, have already confirmed their participation, the release added.
Expo Maker’s Head of Operations Nahid Hasnain Siddique said, “The participant companies will offer special price cut and gift items during the fair.”
“The visitors will be able to pick smart devices from a variety of brands under one roof. There will be some other special arrangements as well for visitors.”
This year, Samsung and Huawei have become the platinum sponsor and gold sponsor respectively.
Linex Mobile, Oppo, Symphony and We mobile have joined as silver sponsors while kiksha.com become ticket booth sponsor.
EduMaker, Peoples Radio and technology news portal techshohor.com are supporting this edition of the event as Partners.
An online contest titled “Smart Battle 2017” is also in place in the official page of Smartphone & Tab Expo on Facebook (www.facebook.com/STExpo).
Winners of this contest will be awarded gift items that include smartphones from Huawei, LAVA and Linex mobile brands.

The expo arena will remain open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm during the fair.
