DHAKA: The country is set to observe December 12 as ‘Digital Bangladesh Day-2018.’

Theme of the day is ‘Digital Bangladesh will be golden Bangla of Bangabandhu.’

ICT division arranged various day-long programs at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC).

The awards will be given to people in recognition of their contribution to country’s IT sector at 10 am.  Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will grace the event as the chief guest at BICC.

A seminar will also be held titled ‘Sonar Bangla and Digital Bangladesh.’ Besides, online essay writing competition and award giving ceremony are among the attractions of the event.

Apart from Prime Minister's Political Advisor HT Imam as the special guest, Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar, former Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman will also attend the event among others.
