The Board of Directors of Rupali Insurance Company Limited has elected Mr. Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan as the new Chairman of the Company at its 212th Board Meeting, following the passing of former Chairman Mr. Mostafa Golam Quddus.

Mr. Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, a distinguished industrialist and entrepreneur, brings with him vast experience in various sectors, including insurance, education, ready-made garments & textile industry and efficient leadership expertise as the Managing Director of Dragon Group. In addition to his corporate endeavors, Mr. Sobhan was appointed as the first Honorary Consul of Uruguay in Bangladesh in 2023, working towards enhancing bilateral trade and diplomatic relations between the two nations. 

On his election, Mr. Sobhan expressed gratitude to the Board for their trust and pledged to uphold the legacy of Mr. Mostafa Golam Quddus and Rupali Insurance Company Limited while steering it toward greater growth and innovation in the insurance sector.
