University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) observed Martyred Intellectuals Day with due solemnity on the campus. 

ULAB organized an online discussion session on December 14. 

Writer and columnist Professor Abdul Mannan from ULAB School of Business was the keynote speaker. ULAB Vice-Chancellor Professor Imran Rahman gave the welcome speech. 

Professor Abdul Mannan discussed the scenarios of intellectual mass killings in his speech. 

He said, just two days before victory when the Pakistani Military understood that they would not win, they started the mass killing as an act of revenge. 

Their main intention was to make the country talentless and empty of intellectual persons.
