IU (KUSHTIA): The admission date for 2014-2015 sessions of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has been extended till June 8.

University central admission committee convener and also IU vice- chancellor Dr Abdul Hakim Sarkar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the university authorities extended the time as some student could not be able to complete their admission procedure due to the transport strike in country’s south and northern regions.

Moreover, some seats of several departments were also vacant.
