DHAKA: The written test under ‘Kha’ unit for admission into Dhaka University for the session of 2015-16 was held on Friday morning.

The examination started at 10:00am kin 69 centers in the city, including DU campus.

University sources said that a total of 31,163 students took part in the written test for 2,296 seats under Kha unit. That means, around 14 candidates is vying for one seat.

DU acting Proctor Amzad Ali said admission test has been held at all centers in fair manner. No forgery or untoward incident was reported from anywhere.

Calculator, mobile phone or electronic device will not be allowed in the exam centers like every year, he added.

Besides, admission test of ‘Cha’ unit on October 10, ‘Ga’ Unit (general knowledge ) on October 16 and ‘Cha’ unit Drawing test will be held on October 17,  ‘K’ Unit will be held on October 30 and ‘Gha’ unit on November 6.
