DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said Non-Government Teachers’ Selection Commission (NTSC) will be formed within one month to ensure transparency in teacher recruitment.

After formation of the NTSC, Non-Government Teachers' Registration & Certification Authority (NTRCA) will be defunct, he added.

The minister told this in a press conference held at conference room of his secretariat officer on Wednesday.

Nahid further said the initiatives will be taken to settle the exiting problems in teacher recruitment in non-government primary schools, Ibtedayi Madrasa, high schools, madrasa and colleges.
