DHAKA: Five publishing houses are holding a book fair on Public Library premises at Shahbagh in city with the view to selling their new and old books at a reduced price.

The sale started on Friday (April 1) and will continue till April 12. The fair, titled “Choitrer Boier Aarong”, is open to all from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

Organizing publications are Nalanda, Charulipi, Bhashachitra, Adarsha and Shobdoshoili.

Visitors can buy books from here at a reduced price of from 25 to 50 percent of original price.

Science fiction writer Mostaq Ahmed, children’s litterateur Humayun Kabir Dhali, writer Raqibul Islam Mukul and Meherun Ruma and the publishers were present during the inauguration here.
