DHAKA: The written examinations for 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will begin on September 1.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission issued a notice in this regard on Thursday (July 14). Details regarding venue and routine will be announced later.

The tests will simultaneously be held throughout all examination venues in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions.

A total of 13,830 candidates have cleared the preliminary examinations for the 36th batch, held in a new format introduced from this time.
