DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The authorities of Dhaka University cancelled studentship of 15 students for their involvement in admission scam.

The decision was made at the university disciplinary board meeting on Thursday morning (January 4) which will be later finalized in syndicate meeting. 

DU vice-chancellor Prof Dr Akhteruzzaman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Three of the 15 expelled students used work as mastermind behind the admission scam. They are- Navid Anjum Tonoy, Mohiuddin Rana and Abdullah Al Mamun. Rana was the joint secretary of DU central BCL. BCL also expelled him after the incident.
