The government has extended the ongoing closure of all educational institutions across the country till October 3, aiming at slowing down further spread of coronavirus in the country.

Mohammad Abul Khayer, public relations officer of the Education Ministry confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Earlier, on July 29, the government extended closure of all educational institutions till August 31.

All educational institutions across the country have remained closed since March 17 following detection of the first Covid-19 case on March 8.
