DHAKA: Star Cineplex arranged the premiere of ‘The Angry Birds’ at STAR Zone in Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in city’s Panthapath area on Thursday evening (May 19).

This animation, action, family and comedy Hollywood movie will be screened at 10:50am, 1:50pm and 3:10pm from May 20 onwards.

The Angry Birds, a 2016 American-Finnish 3D computer-animated action-adventure comedy film, is based on the video game series of the same name.

Directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly (in their directorial debuts), it is written by Jon Vitti.

The film, animated by Sony Pictures Imageworks, stars Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Sean Penn, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage.

It is set to be released in the United States on May 20, says Wikipedia.
