Dengue: 9 hospitalised in Dhaka in last 24 hours

The country reported 43 fresh dengue cases in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning (June 1), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, the nine new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, no dengue patient was admitted outside the capital.

Some 361 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till June 29 while 312 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
