Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-10 arrested 16 members of the juvenile gang named 'Picchi Jalal Bahini' after conducting a special raid in different parts of Dhaka city.

The raids were conducted South Keraniganj, Shyampur and Kadmatoli area of the capital.

The arrestees are - Md. Shah Jalal, 19, Mokabbir Hossain Ayan, 19, Emon Sardar, 20), Md. Russell, 19, Md. Sujan, 19, Md. Munna Hossain, 19, Md. Raju, 19, Md. Hasan, 19, Md. Writing, 16, Md. Jisan, 16, Md. Raihan Sheikh, 16, Momid Hossain, 15, Md. Rabbi, 16, Md. Apan Khandkar, 13, Md. Hriday, 15, and Md. Nazim, 13.

RAB-10 Commander (CO) Additional DIG Mohammad Farid Uddin confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Monday (Jan 30) afternoon.
 
He said Shah Jalal, Ayan, Emon, Rasel, Sujan, Munna, Raju, and Hasan have were handed over to Kadmatoli Police Station after filing a robbery case against each.

However, "The remaining 8 members were minors, thinking about their future, RAB-10 took a pledge from them and released them in the custody of their families", the official added.
