Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday (March 18) predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary
gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.

According to BMD's bulletin, day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the met forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 32.2 degrees Celsius at Bandarban while today's minimum temperature 16.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 6:09 pm today and rises at 6:04 am tomorrow in the capital.
