Ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, motorcycles have started plying the Padma Bridge from 6 am Thursday (April 20) after about nine and a half months.

However, the movement of motorcycles has started temporarily through the Padma Bridge subject to conditions.

The conditions are-

• The bridge can be crossed at a maximum speed of 60 km with a fixed toll.
• Motorcycles must use designated tollbooths and designated lanes.
• Under no circumstances can the designated lane be changed.
• No overtaking on the bridge.
• Driver and rider must use necessary safety equipment including a helmet.
• No clicking pictures on the bridge.
• A maximum of two persons including the rider can ride on the motorcycle.
