Six jamaats (congregations) were held in different mosques in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital marking the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the largest religious festivals of Muslims.
The first prayer was held at Markajul Fikril Islami Bangladesh (Baro Masjid) at 7.00 am on Saturday (today) while second congregation at Umme Kulsum Mosque in Block-C at 7.15 am.
Meanwhile, mosque located in Block-F of the residential area arranged Eid prayers at 7.30 am followed by Baitul Jannat Mosque in Block-G at 8:00 am.
Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Madinatul Ulum Mosque in Block-K were scheduled for 8.15 am and Fakihul Millat Mosque in Block-N held the last congregation at 8.30 am.
