The government said that work on the list of war criminals is going on and the list will be published by December.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque told journalists after performing ziarat at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) in Sylhet on Tuesday (April 25).

The minister said earlier there was no law to prepare the list of war criminals. This law was passed in the last session of the parliament. A committee, headed by convener and also the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Shajahan Khan MP, has been given the responsibility to prepare rules and the list.”

Earlier, Liberation War Affairs Minister reached Sylhet in the afternoon.
