A man and his nephew were killed as a bus hit their bike on Dinajpur-Phulbari road at Chuniapara in Fhulbari upazila of Dinajpur district on Wednesday (April 26).

The deceased were identified as  Babul Hossain, 55, son of Asim Uddin and Sohan, 35, son of Masum.

On information, Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur Shakil Ahmed and and Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sathi Das visited the spot immediately. 

Assistant Director of Dinajpur Fire Service, Enamul Haque said that the accident took place when Babul and Sohan riding on a motorcycle were on way to their office in the morning.  

A bus coming from the opposite direction rammed their motorbike, leaving the two dead on the spot, he added. 

Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital morgue.
