Three people were killed when a bus and mini truck collided head on in Chak Gauri Bazar area of Mahadebpur upazila in Naogaon on Thursday (April 27) afternoon.

Naogaon Additional Police Super Gaziur Rahman confirmed the matter.

He said a Rajshahi-bound bus collided head on with Naogaon-bound mini truck on Naogaon-Rajshahi Highway in the area on Thursday, leaving two people dead on the spot and eight others injured.

The injured were taken to hospital where another person succumbed to his injuries, he said

Gaziur Rahman said the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

But the deceased were the passengers of the truck, he said, adding that police seized the vehicles.
