Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) arrested a man after 12 years who was convicted in a murder case.

The convict Pepper Skoo, 33, is a fugitive sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case filed at Kalmakanda police station in Netrakona.

He was arrested from Tongi area of Gazipur on Thursday (April 27) night.

The captain of B-3 is Lieutenant Colonel Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter.

He said Pepper is an accused in a murder case filed in 2011 at Kalmakanda police station. Since the case, he went into hiding to avoid justice.

After a long judicial process, the court sentenced Pepper to life imprisonment in 2022, he said.

Legal measures have been taken in this regard, said the captain of RAB-3.
