Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) predicted rain or thundershowers across the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (April 29).

According to the Met Office bulletin, rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
 
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.4 degrees Celsius at Feni and Bandarban while today's minimum temperature 20.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nikli.

The sun sets at 6.26pm today and rises at 5.26 am tomorrow in the capital.
