A fire broke out at a warehouse of tyre in Dewanhat area of Chattogram city on Saturday (April 29) afternoon.

Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Md Abdul Hamid Mia confirmed the matter.

According to him, the fire originated at the warehouse around 12:45pm.  

On information, twelve firefighting units rushed to the spot and were working to bring the fire under control, he added. 

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said, adding no casualties were reported so far.
