A man was stabbed when a clash broke out between two rival groups of Jatiya Sramik League in Chattogram.
The victim was identified as Mizan, 30.
The incident happened on Monday (May 1) around 11 am during the observance of May Day at the new railway station.
According to Police and local sources, the Railway Sramik League organised a discussion this morning. When the discussion was going on, an argument happened between the Railway Sramik League central committee's Siraj group and Oliullah Sumon's group. Later, a clash broke out between the two groups. During the clash, Mizan was stabbed.
Railway Security Force (RNB) Chief Inspector Aman Ullah Aman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
He said the railway security team is on high alert to avoid any untoward incident.
The injured persons were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, he added.
