An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 struck Bangladesh on Friday (May 5) morning.
According to the United States Geological Survey website, the quake's epicentre was 14 kilometres ESE of Dohar upazila.
It was close to Sreenagar upazila of Gazipur, the USGS map showed.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The jolt was felt around 6:00 am, many residents reported.
