Dipu Moni’s mother passes away

Education Minister Dipu Moni's mother Rahima Wadud passed away on Saturday (May 6). She was 80

She died at her residence in the capital's Kalabagan around 12pm, said MA Khair, information and public relations officer of the education ministry.

The education minister is currently staying in the United Kingdom on an official tour from where she will return home on Sunday morning, he said.

Her mother will be buried after Dipu Moni arrives, MA Khair added.
