Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four people along with 24 kilograms of ‘crystal meth’ a drug commonly known as ‘ice’, from Ukhiya-Palangkhali border in Cox's Bazar on Saturday night

The consignment was recovered during a raid at Ukhiya-Palangkhali border on Saturday (May 6) around 9:30pm.

According to RAB sources, this is the highest shipment of this drug that has been seized in the country.

Saidur Rahman Sheikh, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Acting Media Officer) of RAB-15 Cox's Bazar is confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

RAB seized 24 kg crystal meth ice which is the highest amount of this drug seized in the country's history from Palangkhali border in Cox's Bazar, said the RAB official.

At the same time, the main godfather of Ice was arrested, he added.
