Malayan girls getting married to incompetent men!

BACK FROM MALAYSIA: In the early morning of October 31, I came out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. I was almost asleep due to journey lag arising out from whole sleepiness night.

In Malaysia the transport never moves more than in two lanes unlike our country. During traffic jam my attention was drawn towards the Malayan women driving motor cycle. I also observed that the most of the drivers of the private cars are Malayan women.

Malaysia is the country of multi races. It is difficult to understand that whether it is a country of Malayan or Chinese. Even there are a sizable number of Indian Tamils.

The religion, color, and culture of these three ethnic races are distinctively different though they form one nation. But though there is ethnic difference, the Malayan women have kept their distinct identity intact.

The Malayan women do not show or exhibit anything excess in the name of Islamic culture.

In education the Malayan women is far in advance than their male counterpart.

On November 14, I had a long discussion with Noor Azlin Binti Bidin, a Lecturer of Communications department of University Technical Malaysia Malaka in her chamber regarding the Malayan women. The discussion was held centering the overwhelming number of women over their male counterpart which is 1:14.

She narrated how the Malayan women are going ahead in education, businesses, various kinds of jobs and even different kinds of nation building activities. Our girls are more intelligent than our boys, she told. In higher education the girls are well ahead even at the highway toll plaza they are perfectly discharging their duties particularly the impaired girls as preferred by the government policy makers.

The Malayan women believe that the income of husband is not enough to run the family expense that is why they prefer jobs or businesses to assist the husband and family. In Malaysia, the police are very much vigilant to protect the dignity and sanctity of the women.

From the very early age measures are taken to make the girls self-dependent. They, when attain the age of 17 they are given learning to drive cars so that they can earn.

In comparison to female the male are very much lazy and do not work rather they become dependent on their wives. For this reason in Malaysia suitable husband for an educated girl is of acute scarce.

Bidin informed that as the number of women is higher than the male it is difficult to find out a suitable and befitting husband. It is a misfortune for Malayan women when she being a college teacher has to marry a cab driver.

In town areas all men and women take their meals in hotels while in villages they usually dine at home. A Malayan girl is sent to school at the age of 7 and they are generally married after they cross 18. However in villages the picture is a bit different because they are married below 18.

Bidin informed that the Malayan women have made their position in the country by dint of their merit and efficiency. They are very courteous. In KTM buses or in Monoralis they never take their seats even those are vacant rather they offer to the senior citizens both male and female.

The Malayan women joining their hands with their husbands have built a sound social system that contributes for overall development of the country though they don’t get their husbands of equal status.
