DHAKA: Tofazzol Hossain Rubel, staff reporter of the Daily Kaler Kantho, and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver were injured as blockaders attacked them in the city on Sunday.

The incident took place around 12:45pm on Sunday near Baitul Mokarram Mosque area.

Rubel said 4-5 blockaders attacked him while he was gathering information by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, leaving him and CNG driver injured.

Meanwhile, police arrested one suspect in this connection.

Motijheel Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner Asaduzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
