An NGO official was killed after a motorcycle collided head-on with an easy bike in Dohar of Dhaka on Thursday (August 3).

The deceased KM Arif, 35, son of Akbar Khan of Netrokona, was working as SME Officer (Yusufpur branch) of Shakti Foundation.

The incident happened around 10 am at Botia upazila regional road.

According to locals, Arif's motorcycle collided head-on with an easy bike while he was moving towards Joypara from Dohar Bazar. 

Later, Arif was rushed to the Doha Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared him dead, said locals.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Doha Police Station Md. Hasan confirmed the matter.

Further legal decisions will be taken when his family members arrive, he added.
